I've heard nothing but good things about it and I wanted to keep the whole package as compact and light as possible when I finally decide to pick an APC up Omega™ 9K, like the full-size Omega from which it draws its name, is an exceptionally versatile suppressor and is the s.Glock 19 with a silencerco omega 9k suppressor, a tlr1 flashlight, and a trijicon rmr red dot site.
Very short, light, and durable welded design. I dont have an APC9 or the suppressor in hand yet but I've decided to go with the omega 9k from SilencerCo. The cans you listed might be the best options for you, but they sure wouldn't be for me. The Omega 9K is too fat to work well for handgun use, but does make a decent PCC option (also consider the Dead Air Wolfman, and YHM R9). For a pistol can, the Rugged Obsidian and CGS Mod9 are generally considered the 2 best options at this point.
There's probably a sharper tone difference also. According to mfgr specs the O9K is 4 dbs quieter than the Obsidian short. The Omega 9k is lighter than the Wolfman. If you shoot both back to back outdoors you won't notice that much difference but a little. It's your ffl who will keep your can for the next year and receive paperwork from the atf.The Omega 9k on a MP5 and Wolfman short on a MP5K. Your dealer would handle the form 4 paperwork. Their only involvement with the NFA would be a form 3 (dealer to dealer) to send the can to your actual dealer. Now you can have the same proven mounting technology of the KeyMo System. The KeyMicro Adapter differs from the Key-Mo adapter and allows you to add a "Quick Disconnect" system to Dead Air silencers that previously did not accept KeyMo mounts. The KeyMicro Adapter in conjunction with the Dead Air Micro Brake gives you even more mounting options. Hopefully the Wolfman compares well to the Phoenix. The O9K is really small, literally the size of a muzzle device, but it was a disappointment suppression wise. I bought the Wolfman before trying the O9K.
